Explore the First Due Training Module and how you can keep your crew certified and ready for action in the First Due platform.
Training and education keep your agency ready to respond to all hazards all the time. For documenting and reporting on the countless hours of training your crews complete, you need a system that's easy to use and easy to manage. That’s where First Due's training module comes in. It's the solution you need to track all your agency's training.
Front and center is the Training Dashboard, which lets you view and quickly access upcoming classes. The right panel displays completed training. The Training Classes table enables you to filter and find the classes you need to review.
Once inside a class, you'll notice the key fields that help organize classes into a smart format. Training categories are the highest level for organizing classes. Here, you'll set the overarching categories for your training program. Topics and objectives allow for more granular refinement for organizing and reporting on your data. On this page, you can add multiple instructors and attachments if desired to the class.
Objectives come next. This is where you define what the class covered. Standards and certifications can be associated independently with each objective. Additionally, objectives can be refined on a per-person basis to accurately capture true training hours for your ISL audit. For agencies that track points or payroll for training, we've got you covered with our Payroll Summary section.
The Training Log enables you to filter and view your entire training catalog. The last section, Certifications, is designed for adding and updating your personnel certifications.
With all this good training data going in, you need to be able to get good intel out. That’s why we’ve fully integrated our ad hoc reporting solution with the training module, so you can pull out the reports you need to tell your story. The First Due training module is the simple yet powerful way to manage your entire training records. Data drives the 21st-century fire service.
