Fully integrate pre-planning into your fire inspection process with First Due's pre-incident planning features built into prevention-focused workflows.
At First Due, we understand that knowledge isn't just power; knowledge is safety. Our pre-planning solution delivers powerful knowledge to help keep your crews and community safe. It is also easy to use, easy to manage, and easy to access.
We make it easy for you to begin creating world-class pre-plans by simply entering a property address. The map will take you directly to that property, and with one click, you're ready to start creating a pre-plan. Here, you can address address details and add structure details such as dimensions, fire load, and required fire flow. With our standard or custom pre-planned units, you can visually depict essential components of a building by adding geographically accurate icons that are vital for effective incident action planning and incident management. Elements like utility shutoffs, fire department connections, special hazards, and hazardous materials can all be added directly to the map.
Speaking of hazardous materials, with one click, arriving crews can access the Emergency Response Guide for a chemical to immediately begin deploying the smartest and safest mitigation actions. Other need-to-know pre-planned elements include contacts, attachments, and building levels that identify hazards on each floor of the building.
Annotations allow you to add lines, polygons, text, and even distance measurements to your pre-plan to visualize unique aspects of a building and to know the exact distances for hose lays and nearest exposures. Pre-plans seamlessly integrate with our inspection module. An inspector can update a pre-plan during an inspection and simply select "Save" when finished. The revised pre-plan is now available for everyone in the organization to use.
First Due makes managing this vast amount of data easy. Pre-plans are organized into actionable visuals, map layers, searchable lists, and an easy-to-use organizer. As soon as an incident is dispatched, pre-plan alert tiles are displayed front and center right on your apparatus-mounted computer, tablet, or cell phone. Alert tiles let you define and organize the most critical elements of your pre-plan so crews know exactly what they will be facing without extra clicks or keystrokes. The entire pre-plan is right at their fingertips. Searching through ring binders or static, obsolete computer files is a relic of the past thanks to First Due's pre-planning module. Data drives the 21st-century fire service. First Due puts you in the driver's seat with our pre-planning solution.
