Managing your agency's critical water supply systems doesn't have to be hard. Inspecting, maintaining, and testing hydrants is straightforward with First Due's easy-to-use and easy-to-manage Hydrants module. It all begins with our simple and searchable hydrants list. From here, you can inspect, flow test, edit, and even add a hydrant. You can also manage hydrants directly from the map.
With a custom hydrant checklist you create for your agency, documenting hydrant inspections and maintenance takes just a few clicks.
Next up are flow tests. Once you've selected the hydrant for testing, the flow hydrants can be easily identified and selected thanks to our integrated map feature. Entering all the flow test data, such as static and residual pressures, is intuitive and, like hydrant checks, takes seconds to complete. Upon completion of the flow test, the system will automatically color-code the hydrant on the map based on the NFPA 291 standard. The hydrant dataset is also automatically updated with test results. Manual entry can also take place as needed.
Because your community is changing and growing, additional hydrants can be added individually or can be imported in a batched CSV file or via an ArcGIS layer. Documenting hydrant checks and flow tests shouldn't consume your day. With First Due's Hydrants module, managing your water workflows is fast, easy, and complete.
