About this Survey

The transition from statewide NFIRS programs to the USFA’s nationwide NERIS programs is one of the largest changes fire agency leadership have faced in recent memory. Fire agency leadership deserve to better understand the general sentiment of their counterparts around the country surrounding the transition to this new reporting standards and gain insight into the factors that matter in decision making around concerns brought about by the transition.

All submissions will be used to create the NERIS transition Guide, built with real world data and best practices from the people leading the charge on the new data standard.
